On April 27th, the Swedish Trade and Invest Council and members of the Sweden+Taiwan Green Transition Alliance, which includes Alfa Laval, Assa Abloy, Atlas Copco, Baseload Power, and Volvo Group, met with Taoyuan International Airport's chairman, Yang Wei-fu, to discuss the airport's sustainable transformation strategy.
Taoyuan Airport presented a comprehensive plan for innovative and sustainable transformation, such as replacing high-energy-consuming equipment, building a green airport, and achieving vehicle electrification.
During the meeting, Alfa Laval presented their innovative "Zero Liquid Discharge" technology, which allows for circular use and environmental protection, providing an effective solution to the airport's wastewater discharge issue. Assa Abloy and Atlas Copco offered energy-saving solutions like electric locks and compressed air and vacuum equipment to assist customers in reducing energy consumption. Volvo Group provided a thorough introduction to their latest electric trucks and buses, with a focus on their energy efficiency features. Furthermore, Baseload Power discussed how geothermal development can contribute to Taiwan's future industrial electricity consumption.
We aim for Swedish companies and in Taiwan to collaborate and create more resilient and low-carbon construction in the future.
